For performers
The Society's calendar lists events (concerts, lectures, workshops, classes, festivals, gatherings, etc.)
in Southern California, focusing on the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas, that relate to music of the Medieval,
Renaissance, and Baroque periods.
To qualify for a listing in this free early music event calendar, the concert or event must meet at least one
of the following criteria:
Features music of the Medieval, Renaissance and/or Baroque periods.
OR
Features contemporary works performed on early music instruments.
OR
Features music of the Classical or Romantic periods in a historically informed performance on period instruments.
OR
Other events related to the categories above.

For advertisers
The newsletter offers display and classified advertising to members and non-members at reasonable
rates. The submission deadline is traditionally the first of the month prior to the issue month, with issues
from October through June.

A limited number of display ads are available in a range of sizes. Please contact the Advertising Coordinator
for the current details and submission guidelines. As advertising space fills quickly, advance reservations are highly recommended.
Classified Advertising
Music related wanted or for sale advertisements, including instruments, music, recordings, books and tickets. Also music services,
products, classes, performance opportunities...
Classified Ads are free for SCEMS members and $5 for non-members for a two issue run. Ads should be music related,
include a brief description (including a price if for sale), and a contact phone/email. Tickets must be at actual ticket cost,
for exchange, or free. Submit by the publication submission deadline via email to the Advertising Coordinator.
